The latest Ross Baptist Church Holiday Club, based on a pirate theme, was a rip roaring success with more than 70 children attending across the week from Monday, July 25th to Friday, July 29th.
The Church took on a shipwrecked desert island look for the ‘Landlubbers’ bible-based club for children aged five to eleven. The free event ran all week from 9.30am until 12 noon each day, finishing with a special Holiday Club Sunday service, when the church was full of families all eager to see what their children had been doing all week.
The mornings were hosted by the very humorous Captain Wiff Waff and his silly first mate Niff Naff, and the children laughed at their jokes, sang and danced hornpipes, played games, made new friends and developed a variety of crafts, while learning new bible stories.
Dates are already booked of next year: 24th – 28th July 2017. For more details of up and coming events please contact the Church office on 01989 566966 or visit the website, www.rossbaptist.org
