Edenstone Homes, which is currently building a development of 290 homes and a community building at St Mary’s Garden Village, Ross-on-Wye, has lodged a planning application for a further 175 homes.

The site is located to the east of the A40 and is currently a greenfield site, used for agriculture. To the south of the site is Rudhall Brook, to the west and north-west will be the 290 dwellings (between the application site and A40) currently under construction.

Access to the site will be from the A40 via the roundabouts already permitted as part of the previous scheme.

Local residents have already lodged objections to the application regarding how the infrastructure, such as GPs and schools will cope with the residents of these additional homes.

To view and make comments on the application online you can search for P194403/O at www.herefordshire.gov.uk. The deadline for comments is Thursday, February 6th.
