Councillor Chris Bartrum and Melvin Reynolds were invited to a meeting on Tuesday, October 9th, regarding the potential for planning at a site in Greytree.

Concerned Greytree residents who wanted to better understand the process for agreeing a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) also attended.

Mr Reynolds hoped to answer the residents’ questions and clarify that the proposals for the Greytree development are not currently a part of the plan.

Mr Reynolds has recently learned that the Ross NDP is now being inspected by Herefordshire Council officers under the required Strategic

Environmental Assessment.

When that is completed, it is expected that the NDP will be made available for six weeks of Public Consultation, which will be publicised to residents and others with interests in the town.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
