Kings Caple celebrated a significant step in the creation of their Neighbourhood Development Plan when they progressed to the public consultation phase, Regulation 14, last week.

Residents have been involved throughout NDP process through questionnaires, Open Days and regular Newsletter updates but this is the first opportunity of seeing and commenting on the draft version of the finished article.

Project Manager Mike Harris told the Ross Gazette:?“It has taken four years of hard work to get to this stage and it is very gratifying to finally have something to share with the people whose opinions and aspirations it attempts to reflect.

“I think the Steering Group has done an excellent job and hope the residents feel likewise”.

The consultation opened on June 27th and closes on August 10th, after which the feedback will be considered and the plan amended, if appropriate, before moving to the final phases of Examination and Referendum.
