The Merry Millers Charity Auction, Dinner and Dance held biennially at the Three Counties Hotel, Hereford is taking place on May 5th.
This is considered to be the largest farmers’ charity auction in the area and the organisers are hoping to raise £30,000 with this single event making a total of £90,000 over the four events to date. At the last event there were attendees from nine counties. Monies raised this year will be in support of Prostate/Breast cancer and the illnesses of Heart and Lung via NHS Trust Hereford which covers adjoining counties.
Janey Cotton and her father, Ian Pugh of Three Ashes, near Ross-on-Wye, have been organising the event for the past 18 months. They have been stunned and delighted with the response they have received from sponsors, farmers, local businesses and the general public for past events.
Donations for this year’s event are welcome and commission bids invited. To receive an auction catalogue or for more information please email [email protected]
