Plans are well underway for the annual Ross-on-Wye Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day for older and more vulnerable people to celebrate together.
Several local organisations including the Ross Lions and EnviroAbility, as well as the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), the Ross Action Bus and Age Concern, have all come together to throw one big Christmas celebration in Ross. And the organisers will meet this week to discuss the final arrangements.
All who attend the event at the Larruperz Centre are given a delicious home cooked meal and can enjoy the company of other local residents.
The meal, sponsored by the Ross-on-Wye Lions, is a fixture on the Ross Christmas calendar. Guests will be delighted that Ruth Gibbins will be returning to cook. Paula Evans of EnviroAbility told the Ross Gazette that guests should pre-book. There is also a home-delivery option for anyone who is unable to join the party at the Larruperz.
