PLATFORM Housing Group has launched its Get Winter Ready campaign, helping customers and communities prepare for the colder months ahead.

The housing association with a number of properties in Ross-on-Wye is aware that with rising energy costs and the ongoing cost of living pressures continuing to affect many households, the campaign brings together practical advice, financial support and essential information in one accessible hub, all designed to help people stay warm, safe and supported this winter.

The Get Winter Ready campaign highlights a range of services and resources available from Platform and its partners, including: Advice on saving energy and keeping homes warm; Help with budgeting, energy bills and accessing grants; Information on emergency repairs and how to report issues quickly; Local community support contacts, including warm hubs and food banks and Guidance on how to stay well over winter.

The campaign went live earlier this month and will continue to run throughout the season. It is part of Platform’s wider commitment to supporting customers beyond housing, by offering the tools and guidance they need to manage through challenging times.

Marion Duffy, chief operations officer at Platform Housing Group said: “We know that winter can be a challenging time, especially with the ongoing cost of living pressures many people are facing.

“Our Get Winter Ready campaign is about making sure our customers feel supported and informed, whether that’s through advice on energy saving, help with bills or knowing who to contact in an emergency. It’s also a reminder that no one has to face the colder months alone; we’re here to help.”

The campaign also encourages neighbours to look out for one another and to seek help early if they’re struggling. Customers can visit platformhg.com/get-winter-ready to explore the advice, links and support services available.
