Police have released an E-fit of a man they are keen to trace following a burglary in Weobley.

At around 3.15pm on Thursday, January 10th, a house on Back Lane was entered via the back door using a key, while the householder was away from the property.

The householder returned to find a man inside her home. On seeing the woman, the man left the house and ran across a main road towards the village centre.After he had gone, it was found that a quantity of cash had been stolen from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms.

Detective Sergeant Tim Dugmore is appealing for help: "The public hold the key to the majority of our investigations and we need your help again to solve the burglary which took place in Weobley earlier this month.

"We have been able to create an E-fit picture of a man we'd like to speak to in connection with this incident, who was seen in the area around the time it happened. I would urge anyone who knows who he is to call us as soon as possible."

The man is white, in his late teens to early 20s, of a pale complexion, around 5ft 9ins tall and of a slim build. He has having a pointy nose, brown eyes and some stubble around the chin. He was wearing blue tracksuit bottoms, a blue woollen zip up hooded top, possibly with a grey sweater underneath, and bright blue trainers with white laces.
