Anthea McIntyre, who lives at Walford, near Ross-on-Wye has held on to her seat in the European Parliament, representing the Conservatives.
Ms McIntyre was pleased that she kept a West Midlands seat, in an election she did not expect to contest.
However, the big winner was the Brexit Party who took more than a third of the votes in the West Midlands’ European Parliament election.
The party took 38% of the vote in the region and will have three MEPs, while Labour, the Conservatives, Greens and Liberal Democrats each have one.
New MEPs include an ex-football club chairman, Rupert Lowe, and a former lads’ mag editor.
