Voting for the Ross East Ward is taking place today Thursday, September 7th but the staff at the polling stations have told the Ross Gazette that turnout has been very low so far.

The polling stations for this election are The Venue on Hill Street, the Tudorville and District Community Centre and the Larruperz Centre and they are open until 10pm tonight.

The candidates standing in the election on Thursday are: Robert Gibbs (Conservative and Unionist Party); Bob Hendrie (Liberal Democrats); Melvin Hodges (Labour Party).

The Notice of Poll states which polling station electors are to go to. Electors in polling district ROE01S, ROE02S and ROE03S all go to different stations as published on that notice. Electors cannot vote at the incorrect station.
