The three groups working in favour of Brexit in Hereford and South Herefordshire; Vote Leave, Leave.eu and Grassroots Out, have decided to work together.
Approximately 100 people attended a meeting in Hereford at which the decision was taken to work as one team, thus avoiding duplication of effort. Supporters of all the main English political parties were present. Tories, Socialists, Liberals and members of UKIP were united in their wish for freedom from a European Superstate.
Cross-party politics simply did not matter, said David Howle, Co-ordinator of Vote Leave, who chaired the meeting with Sarah Rogan of Leave.eu.
It was agreed that, owing to the size of the constituency, whilst canvassing in the City of Hereford and Ross was relatively simple, meeting people in the villages was far more difficult, so many volunteered to deliver leaflets and canvass in more outlying areas.
