MP Jesse Norman, who has refused to state publicly which way he will be voting in the EU referendum, has organised a series of meetings for local residents to get information which they can assess before making their own decisions.

These included a very well-attended meeting at the Larruperz Centre in Ross-on-Wye.

Mr Norman says that for referendums especially, there is an overwhelming need for sources of unbiased information and impartial advice that allow people to make informed choices on their own terms. He believes that the British people are not stupid, they are perfectly capable of assessing complex, nuanced arguments, and they do not deserve to be treated like children.

His final public meeting, in this series is at 10.30am on Saturday, June 11th, at Ewyas Harold Memorial Hall.

He said: "It should be extremely lively, so I would advise arriving in good time to be sure of getting a seat."
