Jessie Norman, MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire has visited Barchester’s Ross Court Care Home in Ross-On-Wye to meet with staff and residents to talk about local issues.

Jesse joined the residents for afternoon tea and took time to talk with residents and staff. Questions from residents led to a broad range of topics being discussed including opportunities for young people in rural Hereford, Jesse’s time in Parliament and a more light hearted chat about being at school with Boris Johnson.

Jesse has visited Ross Court on a number of occasions, but not since Barchester took over ownership, he commented how nice the home was looking and how wonderful the food is.

General Manager, Amy Wheatley, said: “It was lovely to have Jesse Norman visit Ross Court and meet him. The residents were delighted that he was able to visit. It was also nice to have the opportunity to show all that the home has to offer the residents. It was a great opportunity to discuss current important issues that impact us all both locally and nationally. We also spoke about the commitment of the staff team and took the opportunity to have a photo with Jesse to celebrate our recent CQC inspection where we were rated “Good” in every area; something we are all very proud of.”
