Ross-on-Wye Town Council has announced that it will be holding its Annual Parish Meeting at the Larruperz Centre on Thursday, March 2 at 7.30pm.

This meeting is open to registered local government electors of Ross-on-Wye, with other residents being able to attend, but without the right to speak or vote on issues raised.

The agenda for the meeting includes a welcome from Councillor Ed O’Driscoll, Mayor of Ross-on-Wye, and the minutes of the previous Annual Town Meeting held on Monday, April 25, 2022. The Mayor will give an annual report on the town council’s activities over the previous year.

One of the highlights of the meeting will be presentations from the Council’s Grant Scheme recipients. This is a chance for local organizations to discuss their projects and how they have benefited the community.

To encourage more residents to get involved in local government, there will also be a talk by Lynda Wilcox from the Herefordshire Association of Local Councils, who will explain why residents should consider running for office in the upcoming May elections.

Finally there will be comments and questions from residents of Ross-on-Wye. This is an opportunity for residents to express their thoughts about the future of the community.
