Mayor Ed O’Driscoll gave a report on all the events he attended on behalf of Ross Town Council at the last full town council meeting which took place Monday, November 14.

Event Cllr O’Driscoll attended include:

  • the open evening at John Kyrle High School, October 20;
  • the civic service for the new mayor of Monmouth at the Baptist Church, October 23;
  • the RBL for the opening ceremony for their planter which marks the start of the remembrance period, October 29;
  • St Mary’s Church civic service, where Mark Sanderson was presented with his “well deserved” British Empire Medal by His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, October 30;
  • Morrisons poppy appeal along with the store manager and members of the RBL, November 5;
  • meeting the winner of the Mayor’s Christmas card competition, November 10;
  • as well as Armistice day and Remembrance day services.
