MEmbers of local history group, the Friends of Dymock Poets, are delighted that a planning application made by Cobrey Farms, which is based in Ross, to develop a large area of open countryside at Redmarley in Gloucestershire with polytunnels for asparagus production has been refused. The application also included two reservoirs and plans to redirect a public right of way.
The planning committee of Forest of Dean District Council (FDDC) orinasal defered a decision in February until after they had made a second site visit. They considered it again at the Council. Full story in this week's Gazette.
