Ross Poppy Appeal recently opened its charity shop – for a limited period only – in Cantilupe Road. Mayor David Ravenscroft cut the ribbon and officially declared the shop open and ready for business.

Local Poppy Appeal Stalwarts, Brian and Sue Lampert will be manning the shop, and along for support for the day was Poppy Appeal Community Fundraiser for Herefordshire, Liz Parker.

The Poppy Appeal in Ross has been going from stength to strength and last year alone nearly £12,000 was raised. largely thanks to volunteers such as Sue and Brian who offer many hours of their time. They are grateful for the support of Morrisons and Labels.

The shop is open until July 5th, Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm. Ross Sea Cadets will take over the shop on July 14th.
