Dear Editor,

I’ve had a very successful week running a charity shop for Brain Tumour Research. Through the genorosity of the people of Ross-on-Wye, the dis- trict and the visitors, we raised £1,225 - a fantastic result.

Many thanks to everyone involved, particularly the volunteers who gave their time so generously. I would like to mention Sue Wall, who is always there to give a helping hand, and Iris Price. She has helped so many local organisations raise

money and find premises to use.

A big thank you to all the volunteers in our town; where would we be without them?
