Despite the Post Office Ltd issuing information recently about the Ross Post Office relocating from The Maltings to Gwalia, John Pugh, the subpostmaster, has confirmed that the move will not be as far. He said:?"If the public consultion goes ahead, and we can agree the terms of the lease we should be moving from 6-7 The Maltings to 13-14 The Maltings in February next year.

He told the Ross Gazette:?"I would like to apolgise, on behalf of the Post Office, for the wrong information being given out." Hopefully people will be pleased about this proposal and the new store should be bigger and better than ever."
