Herefordshire Council are encouraging individuals, businesses, community groups, schools and colleges to be litter heroes and organise or join in with a litter pick to support the Great Herefordshire Spring Clean, taking place on March 22nd to April 23rd, 2019, as part of the Great British Spring Clean.

To take part, organise a litter pick, and email [email protected] with details of your litter pick and submit a litter pick form.

Litter picking equipment for adults and children can be borrowed free of charge from Balfour Beatty Living Places (BBLP) by calling 01432 261800.

If you regularly litter pick they can provide some litter picking equipment to help you.

If you’d prefer to join in with a litter pick there are 25 community litter picking groups around the county, so keep an eye on the list of current litter picks on the Herefordhsire Council website.

There are two competitions during the Spring Clean for the oldest piece of litter found, and the most unusual piece of litter found.
