Madam, Thank you John Starton for drawing attention to the Walter Scott School in Old Gloucester Road. I often used to pass this building which loked very sad and in need of proper restoration. I was delighted when my son purchased it although it cost a lot of money to restore it to its former glory.

English Heritage are happy as it was clearly at risk and likely to stand empty and unloved for years to come.

The building is my son's new business premises and he is relieved that it is finished and he has enjoyed his first week working there.

The town of Ross is fortunate to have such a beautiful Georgian building and I hope all those interested will appreciate it. I am proud that my son took on this restoration and Ross should be too.
