Ross town centre was given a £10,000 boost on Tuesday, October 23rd when Housing Minister Mark Prisk announced that Ross has been selected to become part of the Town Team Partners programme.

Ross was one of more than 300 towns disappointed not to be selected as a Portas Pilot earlier this year. The whole town got behind the bid which had to be submitted as a report and as a film. The team worked hard to convince the government that Ross deserves a share of the pot to help fund their ideas for regenerating the town centre.

As well as the £10,000 the members of the Town Team will also have access to an advice line and network of advisers managed by the Association of Town Centre Management.
