English Nature, through the AONB, have awarded Ross-on-Wye Town Council £5000 towards further works on the river bank.

The Ross Gazette recently reported that many local people and visitors to the town have commented on the improvements of the upkeep of the open spaces near to the River Wye, along the Rope Walk towards Wilton Bridge.

Town and County Councillor, Richard Mayo, Chair of Ross Town Council’s Open Spaces Committee told the Ross Gazette that because of the Councillors’ positive and proactive approach, English Nature awarded the grant.
