Ross publicans joined forces with West Mercia Police and the licensing trade to work together to tackle alcohol-related disorder in the town.

The newest extension of the pub watch scheme, called Herefordshire Against Night Time Disorder, or HAND, was inaugurated at a Tuesday morning meeting of publicans, police officers and licensing officers at the Eagle – a pub that itself has had an unwelcome association with several incidents of disorder in recent months.
