Pupils from Ashfield Park Primary School sang Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer as part of the special service to remember the Chelsea Pensioners who died whilst they were evacuated to Ross-on-Wye during World War II, the Korean War and the Falklands conflict, at a special service in St Mary’s Churchyard on Thursday, November 7th.

The Act of Remembrance for the Korean War commemorates the men of the British Army who sacrificed their lives between June 1950 and July 1953.

The Falkands Memorial Store was donated by friends of Private Timothy Jenkins,3rd Parachute Regiment, who lost his life there in 1982.
