Communities will be able to see their questions put to the West Mercia Chief Constable this evening, Monday, December 10th, in a Facebook Live event, focused around budget.
Over the past few weeks, Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion has invited questions for the Chief on how they would like to see resources prioritised. The views on how money is spent, will help to shape the budget for the coming year.
A number of questions have already been put forward covering a range of topics linked to budget including visible policing, rural crime, tackling anti-social behaviour and protecting local businesses.
The public are invited to submit further questions during the livestream which takes place at 6pm on Monday, December 10th. Questions can be submitted on Facebook: @WestMerciaPCC or via email in advance to [email protected]
Commissioner John Campion said “I’m grateful to everyone who has engaged with this so far. I would encourage communities to take advantage of the opportunity on Monday evening, to have their views put forward at the highest level and help to shape the priorities for the budget moving forward.
The public’s police service is funded with tax payer’s money so its imperative communities have a say in how their money is spent.”
