After the success of last year’s Quizmas Extravaganza, Lorna and April will once again host the sometimes ridiculous, yet always hilarious evening for Hope Support Services.

Featuring a selection of rounds to test your pub quiz knowledge, it promises to be an entertaining night – ranging from the big fat quiz of the year to the standard general knowledge round with a few Christmas teasers thrown in, there should be something for all the family.

“We really enjoyed ourselves last year,” said Lorna, Hope’s administrator and one half of the presenting duo. “The feedback was great – after all, everyone loves a good pub quiz!

“We managed to raise around £150 in the 2015 edition which we were really pleased with, and would love to raise even more this year.”

The quiz will take place at the Prince of Wales on Wednesday 14th December, 7.30pm. Entry is £3 per person, teams of up to six – register your team in advance for an extra point by calling 01989 566317.

All proceeds will go to supporting young people when a family member is diagnosed with a life threatening illness.
