The Mayor of Ross-on-Wye Councillor David Ravenscroft launched the Ross Poppy Appeal at 9am on Saturday, October 27th by placing the first cross in the Field of Remembrance in Broad Street.

Members of the public are invited to place their cross in the box to remember those who served the country and are no longer with us. Crosses are available from most Poppy Points throughout the town, and members of the town's Cadet Forces will be supplying them on Saturday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 10th in the Market Place.
