THE registration of births, deaths and marriage notifications is set to change in Ross, the Gazette has learned.

Currently a registration service is available at all the market towns in the county, including Ross. Under new proposals being considered, these offices could close and appointments for births, deaths and marriage notifications will be conducted from the Customer Service centres in each town. There is no intention to remove the use of any existing ceremonial site from Ross and the other market towns.

Herefordshire Council would welcome views on the proposals to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
