The Roman Way play area is a very popular park in Ross-on-Wye and well-used by many local children and their families.

A group of local residents contacted the Ross Gazette concerned about the lack of fencing in the play area, as well as the the fact some of the equipment has been removed.

A spokesman for Herefordshire Council has confirmed to the Ross Gazette that they are aware of the lack of fencing and play equipment in the play area.

Balfour Beatty Living Places have been on site to check the safety of the play area and will update the Gazette as soon as possible with regards to a time scale for replacing or repairing the area.
