Residents who have recently moved into the new Persimmon development on the A40 at Ross are thrilled with their new homes but several, especially those who do not have access to a car feel they have been marooned on the development without anyway of leaving it safely. There is no footpath alongside the A40 as this would be too dangerous and there is no footpath from the site on to Tanyard Lane yet. This is where developers Persimmon will be installing a footpath. Terry Coles, the award-winning site manager told the Ross Gazette that it is just too dangerous to allow pedestrians to access the path out of the site while building work is continuing.
