MADAM, the country code says that dogs can be off lead 'but in close control'. How does that work? Recently we have been attacked twice by loose dogs while ours was on the lead. Birds are nesting and lambs are in the fields. Also why do people pick up after their dogs and then either leave the 'parcel' by the side of the footpath or throw it into a field? Please let us try to be 'responsible dog walkers' in Ross.
