After a great deal of discussion and thought, the results of the Ross Baptist Church painting competition have been decided. It was extremely close between the paintings placed first and second but in the end the first prize of £40, donated by The Ross Baptist Church, was awarded to painting No 5 by Dawn Bradford.

Second prize went to No 10 painted by Vanessa Rhead who receives a pack of quality watercolour paper donated from Colemans Stationery and a £10 voucher from the SAA.

Third Prize went to No 3, painted by Michael Doughty and fourth prize, No 13, painted by Pauline Davies who each receive a £10 voucher from the SAA.

Due to the fact it was so close between two paintings for the fourth prize, a fifth prize was donated by Mary Deaville, who organised the competition as part of the celebrations marking the anniversary of the church. This went to No 4, painted by Karen Purcell.

Mary and the Elders of Ross Baptist Church would like to thank all who entered their paintings, they have made a wonderful display admired by all who have visited the church.
