Due to heavy rainfall over the weekend, the River Wye has flooded once again.
Dave Throup, from the Environment Agency, told the Gazette that the flood level would be peaking around lunchtime on Wednesday, December 2nd.
The Ropewalk, Ross-on-Wye Sports Centre, and local farms are just some of the areas affected by the flood. The river is lapping the doors of the Rowing Club and more rain is forecast for the end of the week.
Some sports events are expected to be cancelled this week, as a result of the flooding. If you know of any in particular, please email: [email protected]
