A ROSS-ON-WYE inn has been named among the best places in the UK for an autumn getaway by The Guardian.
The Riverside Inn, on Wye Street, featured in the newspaper’s list of 15 great small hotels, inns and restaurants with rooms for an autumn stay.
The Guardian highlighted the inn’s five new bedrooms, which have recently opened and are named after characters created by author and illustrator Charlie Mackesy.
It praised Ross-on-Wye as a base for exploring local antiques and salvage shops as well as the riverside scenery around Symonds Yat.
The rooms feature items sourced from local businesses including Baileys Home Store.
The Riverside Inn offers bed and breakfast stays, with double rooms starting from £180.
