Hereford FC fans are celebrating that their team has won the Midland Football League Premier Division and been promoted to the Southern League after beating Coventry Sphinx 4-0.
They are now looking forward to the HFA Cup final on May 2nd and the FA Vase Final on May 22nd at Wembley.
Even more exciting is the news that the Football Association (FA) has given permission for the club’s mascot, a prize Herefordshire bull, Hawkesbury 1 Ronaldo, to be paraded at Wembley ahead of the match against Morpeth Town.
The club is delighted that the FA has agreed to this unprecedented request, and are also grateful to Hawkesbury 1 Ronaldo’s owners, Weston Cider for all their assistance in making this idea a reality.
For those who can’t wait for Wembley to see Hawkesbury 1 Ronaldo, he will also be making a special appearance at the County Challenge Cup Final between Westfields FC and Hereford FC at Edgar Street on Monday, May 2nd (3pm kick off).
This will be the Bulls’ last game in the county before the trip to Wembley.
