A couple had a lucky escape from their bungalow when they were warned by a smoke alarm that it was on fire.

Two fire crews from Ross were called to the bungalow at Leys Hill, near Kerne Bridge, on Friday, February 4th following reports of a roof fire. For a full report see this week's Gazette.
