Ross Junior U11s travelled to Hereford United's ground at Edgar Street on Saturday for a packed afternoon of activities. They met Bulls players prior to the home match against Walsall as well as having a tour of the grounds.

Ross Junior's forward, George Wallis-Smith, was mascot for the Bulls, walking out with the team at the start, greeting the opposition and being part of the official match photograph.

The team then watched the tense first half which ended 0-0.

Hereford United FC had granted permission for the team to have a short game on the ground at half time. As the whistle blew, junior goals were quickly erected and the team walked out to the applause of 3,904 people!

The squad was split in two and a quick frantic game ensued. George managed the only goal, beating defenders and nutmegging Callum in a difficult one on one. They then returned to the stands to what the second half that despite the Bulls upping the pace and pressure, still ended 0-0. Fans were pleased though to at least have seen one goal at half time.

On Sunday the team travelled to Bartestree for a league game. A 'three at the back' strategy worked very well against a team of giant defenders and lightning fast forwards, Ross were unlucky to concede a goal just before half time and another just after. A superb lob from near the half way line by Harri slid perfectly in between outstretched goalie's fingers and the bar to make it 2:1. For 10 minutes Ross claimed better control of the game and came close to equalizing but Bartestree broke, broke and broke again, the score finishing 5:1.
