Ross Hockey Club Ladies are still unbeaten this season, following their third game of the season playing away to the Badgers in Gloucester on Saturday.
Ross took a while to settle down but some sterling midfield play by Liz Ellis pulled the team into a strong formation. There was some good play between Vanessa Ball, Rebecca Heyes and Abby Ward, which resulted in a well-deserved Ross goal by Katie Williams 18 minutes into the first half.
The Ross defence played superbly, preventing the Badgers from having any serious attempts on goal in the first half.
