Ross Youth Lions (Leo) Club have recently been busy at the John Kyrle High School Sports Day, raising money that will enable them to make donations to many good causes.

At the Sports Day, they sold a variety of summer produce to the pupils and staff, with strawberries and cream, as well as fruit juice, being the clear favourite on a lovely summer’s day.

This year, thanks to the generous donation of strawberries from EC Drummond, the Leos were able to enjoy a busy day of selling. They are also grateful to Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and all local businesses for their donation of goods allowing them to raise even more funds for local charities.

The Ross Leos meet weekly at JKHS, at Tuesday lunchtimes, and are always welcoming to anyone who is interested to come along and find out more about them.
