Ross Lions care for the environment, and as part of their commitment to this, and to the twinning with Namatumba, have funded a large skip to help with keeping that town clean.
Members of Ross Leos have joined in with this initiative by helping the Leo Club at Kisiki College. These young people regularly tidy the town as part of their Service to the Community.
Ross resident, Rob Sedman, said that he had never seen Namutumba Town look so litter and rubbish free on his recent visit, testament that the Lions’ assistance is working and appreciated.
A donation to Ross Namutumba Link was made recently at their Crested Crane charity shop in Henry Street, by the Lions’ Community Service Officer, David Ravenscroft.
