Ross Community Litter Clean Up Crew started 2020 with a really successful litter pick.

The group of 20 new and regular volunteers turned up outside Ross Library on Sunday to litter pick the surrounding streets.

With children working alongside senior citizens and all age groups in between the crew were able to cover a wider than usual area collecting and bagging up 20 purple sacks of litter ready for Council disposal.

Members of the group were encouraged to see both Halo and Aldi getting employees out cleaning up their respective areas which certainly helps towards a cleaner and tidier Ross-on-Wye.

RCLCUC’s next organised event will be to litter pick the Ross Community Hospital area from 10.00am on Sunday, January 19th – meeting in the hospital car park. Please note there will be parking charges in force at the hospital but there is two hour free parking in several surrounding streets.
