A Ross-on-Wye artist, Mary Deaville, is delighted that a piece of her work, entitled ‘Something Fishy’ will be exhibited at The Strand Gallery in London between Tuesday, June 20th and Saturday, June 24th.

The artwork was chosen to be a part of the Pébéo Mixed Media Exhibition 2017. There will be a private viewing on 20th June, which Mary will attend, and the exhibition will be open to the public for the remainder of the week.

The Strand Gallery was selected to be the exhibition’s venue, as the event organisers thought it was in a good, central location, near the Embankment undergrond station, and it posseses a “perfect ambience.”

Mary told the Ross Gazette that she has never had her work exhibited in London before and she is very excited.

Winners of the £500, £250 and £100 Cass Art vouchers will be selected by the international judging panel and the winners will be announced at the Private Viewing on June 20th.

In addition to these prizes, one artist will be given the People’s Choice Award. To select the winner, there will be a public vote on Facebook, showing all the works exhibited at the gallery.
