Maisy Harradine, from Ross-on-Wye, is a finalist in a nationwide writing competition for young people with her story: The Guest List which will be included in a bedtime story book available for hotel guests to borrow.

The Guest List was written for the Hallmark Hotels Storytelling campaign. Shortlisted stories, like Maisy’s, will be included in a bedtime storybook, intended to help families bring comfort and routine to their little ones while staying at a Hallmark Hotel.

The judging process was led by author and CBBC Teletubbies scriptwriter Gordon Volke, he said that The Guest List would make a “fantastic addition” to the storybook, which will be made available for guests to borrow later this year.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
