Nycosia, A local deathcore metal band, will be playing at Tech-Fest this weekend, a music festival in Nottinghamshire that celebrates the biggest up-and-coming acts in the UK, giving them the chance to play alongside talented artists from around the rest of the world.
Adam Barkley, Billy Kibble, Matt Ball and Ben Adams will take to the Gigantic Stage at Tech-Fest on Saturday, July 8th.
Billy lives in Sellack, near Ross-on-Wye, and Adam comes from Monmouth, and attends university at the Hereford College of Arts. Matt is from Guildford and Ben comes from Milton Keynes, but the band has been getting together to rehearse for Tech-Fest at Billy’s rural Herefordshire home.
Adam told the Ross Gazette that the band will be playing all new material at the festival, and the boys have been putting in hours of preparation to get ready for the event.
Tech-Fest began in 2012, originally planned as a one day event, but before long developed into a three-day affair, and tickets sold out. The following year, the festival evolved into an outdoor event with camping, two stages, and music lasting for four days.
Since 2014, Tech-Fest has taken place at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire, and the event has grown year after year. For more information about the event, please visit the website.
