Sian Coopey, founder of the Ross Gazette’s Charity of the Year, Rocky Lee’s Little Feet, is appealing to local residents for support.

The charity, which was founded by Sian and Martin Coopey in June 2013, after their precious son, Rocky Lee, was stillborn. has been nominated for a Midlands Business and Community Charity Award.

Sian told the Ross Gazette that she normally shies away from personal publicity but realises how important it is for the charity. She said that is why she wants to encourage people to vote for her as it will raise the profile of Rocky Lee’s Little Feet.

Sian has worked tirelessly for five years to start the charity helping other parents and families who experience the tragedy of stillbirth.

The charity helps provide countless families with headstones for their baby and has provided two rooms at Hereford County Hospital for parents to use during their stay.

Voting will end on July 20th at 10pm. You can vote for Sian by going online to the website: www.midlandsbccawards.co.uk
