The Friends of Ross Community Hospital held a celebratory event on Saturday, July 15th, to mark the 20th anniversary of when the hospital was opened in its current location by Princess Anne in 1997.
During the event, visitors could enjoy a strawberry cream tea, where the ingredients were kindly donated by Rodda’s. There was also a raffle where attendees could try their luck at winning one of the several prizes, donated by local businesses, and commemorative mugs and tea towels were also on sale.
Jill Davies, Chair of the Friends of Ross Hospital, had put together an exhibition, detailing the history of Ross-on-Wye’s hospital, and how it came to be at Alton Street.
