Ally Hunter Blair, who farms 500 acres of Herefordshire land, owned by the Duchy of Cornwall, is set to become one of the stars of a new television programme, which will premiere exclusively on Quest, at 9pm, Tuesday, January 7th.

BORN MUCKY: LIFE ON THE FARM goes behind the scenes to capture the reality of life for modern day farmers in rural Britain, and the resilience and commitment required to keep farms thriving.

The series follows three British farmers, trying to run three very different family farms with only the skills passed down from previous generations. From building dry stone walls to raising cattle, each episode shows the complexities of farming and the passion and drive often needed to stay afloat. With rent and bills to pay, and a team of hard grafters behind them, survival isn’t guaranteed, but these three farmers are not going to let a bad harvest stop them trying!

As well as Weir End Farm, the programme follows sustainable farmer Ian Steele in Shropshire and Tom Martin who is running the family farm in Cambridgeshire.
