Local farmer, and a soft fruit supplier to Marks and Spencer, Anthony Snell is tackling a new challenge this weekend.

Anthony, from Harewood End, who was crowned this year’s winner of the prestigious M&S ‘Farming for the Future’ awards, is cycling 100 miles to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. the charity is very close to his heart as his mother, Jennifer Snell passed away suffering from Parkinson’s.

Anthony is taking part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 which follows a modified version of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race.

The 100-mile ride starts at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, and continues through the streets of London and picturesque Surrey roads before finishing in The Mall. The event is on Sunday, July 31st and Anthony is already very close to his fundraising target.
