Local photographer, Alan Stringer, who readers may recall had two well regarded exhibitions depicting aspects of life in Ross, has achieved significant success in the 2017 Cotswold Salon.
This Salon is the only national photographic exhibition devoted solely to monochrome photography.
Alan, who, against all current trends, continues to use film and traditional darkroom printing methods was awarded Photographic Alliance of Great Britian (PAGB) gold medals in two of the three classes for darkroom prints.
The exhibition is being held in Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester. It began today (Thursday, July 13th) and will be on display until Sunday, July 16th.
Alan told the Ross Gazette: “It is well worth a visit, especially by anyone interested in black and white photography. The opening hours are 10am until 5pm and entry is free.”
